Explore nature's basement with today's Groupon: for $15, you get admission for one vehicle Monday–Thursday to Lights Under Louisville at the Louisville Mega Cavern (a $25 value).
Guests at Lights Under Louisville marvel at more than two million holiday lights strung inside a four-million-square-foot subterranean cavern. Originally a limestone mine, the subterranean facility glows with more than 650 brightly lit characters, festive holiday shapes, and PowerPoint presentations about the Pythagorean theorem. During the approximately 30–40 minute ride, carbound spelunkers will stream across a portion of the cavern’s 17 miles of passageways, relying on lanes of twinkling bulbs for guidance. The cavern averages 58 degrees year round, forgoing the need to build a campfire out of road maps in the backseat.
