About Lower Columbia Bowl
Built in 1946 as a car dealership, Lower Columbia Bowl was repurposed in 1956 as a bowling alley to provide young people with another form of recreation. After being purchased by Dave Palmberg in 1989, LCB became the first bowling alley on the Oregon Coast to have automatic scoring technology. Updates continued to increase the quality of the bowling alley with a modern scoring system installation in 2007, as well as synthetic lane beds in 2011.
