PRP is an extremely low risk and modern approach to tackle hair loss problems. Since the patient's own blood/platelets are used, there is minimal risk and virtually no side effects besides some slight soreness in the scalp area immediately following the procedure.
Our simple and safe procedure:
- We take blood from the patient's arm and place the blood vials into a device called a centrifuge, where we spin the blood to separate into the platelets.
- We numb the scalp so there is as little pain as possible.
- Once the scalp is numbed we inject the platelets back into the scalp area and any balding spots to promote hair growth!
PRP hair growth sessions are generally priced based on the amount of syringes used (dosage amount). The more syringes that are used, the more effective and efficient the procedure is.
