About Maple Run Golf Course
Maple Run Golf Course's location near Camp David has attracted US presidents both real (Bill Clinton played in the '90s) and fictional (an episode of The West Wing was filmed here in 2004). Presidential history aside, the 18-hole, par 72 course has a scenic layout at the foot of Catoctin Mountain. It gives players a mix of shots: the front 9 has open, sloped greens, and the back 9 snakes through the woods. A snack bar with a dozen beers offers refreshment before and after rounds.
