Originally from Puerto Rico, the owners of Matt's Latin BBQ made it about 15 years in Orlando before they could no longer go another day without the flavors of their native land. Thus the restaurant was born, giving their own family and others the authentic tastes of Puerto Rican barbecue in the process. While the menu tends to change based on the season, chefs here always infuse the flavors of the island into all meats and sides, which range from chicken and roast pork to fried plantains and seafood salad. The same attention and love also goes into "Matt's TO GO" orders, where food and flavors can be just as unique as your pet turtle's quinceañera.
