What should Jewish people do on Christmas? In 1987, the creators of MatzoBall revealed their answer to that question: party. The annual holiday bash began as an event for Jewish singles on Christmas Eve, a night when many public places are traditionally closed and Santa takes over the airwaves with his State of the North Pole address. Today, MatzoBall has spread to more than 20 cities across the U.S., including Miami, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Detroit.
