Lovers of good barbecue wait all year for the Michigan Rib Fest with the same sort of frenzied anticipation as a kid waiting for Christmas morning. This multi-day celebration of grilled meats takes over the M1 Concourse in Pontiac over the Independence Day weekend, bringing great food, fun, and live music. In addition to eats from vendors like Stonewood Smokehouse, Old Carolina, and Rub Pub BBQ, guests can enjoy monster truck rides, pig races, a kid’s zone, and special events such as a Friday night fireworks show.
