About Mint Restaurant & Lounge
Chef Gary Sikka, owner of Mint Restaurant & Lounge, named his eatery for an aromatic herb that plays a prominent role in Indian cuisine. Found in tandoori meat preparations, spicy relishes or chutneys, and rice, mint is used liberally on Chef Gary's menu. Mint chutney accompanies starters such as spicy potato-fenugreek cakes, and mint rice joins entrees such as lobster masala. Inspired by the culinary traditions of both Northern and Southern India, the dishes here also include several types of biryani, curries, and many a vegetarian entree. The restaurant’s decor is modern and colorful, with hardwood floors, minty-green accents on the walls, and orange drum lights hanging overhead.
