Though it was built in the '90s, the Miss Liberty is a trip back in time. Passengers step aboard for a leisurely 90-minute tour of Big Bear Lake. Narration guides them through the surrounding valley's history and folklore dating back to 1845, when it was first explored by settlers of European descent. The rustic scenery unfolds from a perch on the shaded upper deck or in the enclosed salon, where snacks and drinks are available from the galley. The paddle wheel is for looks.
