Moe's mildly aphasic menu might seem like it was poorly translated from some inscrutable alien language, possibly Rigelian or whatever language it is that Bob Dylan speaks, but that's because Moe prefers to name things based on what makes him laugh rather than what they are. As such, the Joey Bag of Donuts ($7.39) is actually a rice and bean burrito with your choice of meat, shredded cheese, and pico de gallo, while the Homewrecker ($8.39) burrito binds rice, beans, and a choice of meat with cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole. Stubborn flat-earth holdouts can draw nautical maps on the John Coctostan (meat and bean quesadilla, $7.49). Actors attempting to gain weight in a hurry as part of their live performance of Raging Bull can try a few Fat Sams on for size (grilled chicken, steak, or tofu fajitas with lettuce, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream, $9.79). Vegetarians can enjoy the Art Vandalay ($6.59) with beans, rice, cheese, pico de gallo, lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. Despite all the etymological shenanigans, Moe's does not joke about the freshness of its food. The eatery is so fanatical about making its sundry tacos, nachos, burritos, and salads fresh that it doesn't even own a freezer. Chicken and steak are marinated and grilled without the use of lard, animal fat, ectoplasm, or any other slimy substances. All ingredients are prepared fresh that morning.
