What is it?
Bouldering is climbing on our shorter walls, about 15ft, without a rope. Pads are provided under the climbing walls.
- Does not need a partner.
- Accessible for all skill and experience levels.
- Adult Bouldering area for ages 12 & up as well as kids' area for ages 3-11
- 4-Minute Safety Orientation video required
Auto-Belay is climbing on slightly taller walls, about 20ft, while attached to a retractable tether. When the climber lets go of the wall, the tether slowly lowers the climber back to the pad.
- Does not need a partner.
- Accessible for all skill and experience levels.
- Appropriate for ages 3 & up.
- Staff demonstration and safety orientation provided.
Top Rope is climbing on taller 50ft walls with a rope tied to the harness with a Belayer on the ground holding the rope.
- Partner required.
- Accessible for all skill and experience levels.
- Climbers can be aged 3 & up. Belayer must be aged 12 & up.
- Belayer must have received a Top Rope Certification from Momentum Staff.

Our state-of-the-art facility offers Katy climbers 12,700 sq. ft. of floor for roped climbing with over 20,000 sq. ft. of wall surface, 6,950 sq. ft. of floor for bouldering with 5,400 sq. ft. of wall surface including a topout boulder, and 5,520 sq. ft. of floor for world-class training facilities.
