Today’s Groupon combines the phosphorescence of glow-in-the-dark paint with golf and monsters: for $15, you get four rounds of mini golf at Monster Mini Golf ($5.50–$7.50 each depending on your height, which the Monster Mini Golf desk guards will use to guess your age). Use all four passes yourself, bring your family, or share them with friends you met online before meeting each other to play a best-of-seven series of Whodunit.
Champion over the intimidating attractions gracing all 18 holes at Monster Mini Golf. The West Chester location contains enough geometric challenges to make the course interesting for all ages. Navigate your illuminated golf ball past Frankenstein, disgruntled Cincinnati Chili Monsters, the Monster Half Pipe, and Glo-Zo the clown, or just stand in awe at the 3-D spectacle. While playing, be sure to listen for Monster Mini Golf’s own in-house radio station, “W.I.R.D. (Weird Radio),” whose live, on-site DJ hands out prizes for random reasons on the links.
Bring your family to celebrate your family blog about kittens and soup, or bring the kids you babysit for, so they take a break from the New Super Mario Bros. on Wii. Monster Mini Golf features a sonic backdrop of in-house music and arcade games that spit tickets for prizes at skilled players. Get your four mini-golf games in back-to-back-to-back-to-back to become the mad master scientist of the course, or split your Groupon over repeat visits.
Reviews
Cincinnati Magazine featured Monster Mini Golf in its 2009 Best of the City issue.
Most mini-golfers haven't reviewed Monster Mini Golf Cincinnati yet—they're still trying to get their glow-in-the-dark ball into that scary clown mouth—but a few adept Google Mappers give it five stars along with two Citysearchers, and two Insider Pagers give it four stars:
- I took my family last weekend and we had a blast. You have to experience it for yourself to truly appreciate what they have to offer. We will be going back often. – Tony, Google Maps
- My friends and I thought this course was very fun due to the challenge of it. We are serious mini golfers and we approve highly of this course…They also have a decent game room that is like a mini Dave and Busters, but they have cooler prizes. – ADavis, Citysearch
- Took the family here on a colder, wet day. The place was packed! It is glow-in-the-dark everything, and the kids had fun. The party rooms were very fun looking...think Addams Family! – Amy F., Insider Pages
