About Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon

Year after year, golfers from around the globe travel to Beaumont to tee off at Morongo Golf Club. It's easy to understand why, considering the club's nestled within Tukwet Canyon and features a pair of 18-hole courses surrounded by stunning mountain views. Here are a few things to know about the club before you start swinging:

  • Both courses are long: The Champions course reaches 7,377 yards from the tips, and The Legends course hits 7,442 yards. The courses also feature five sets of tees per hole.
  • It hosts prestigious events: Tukwet Canyon is the regional home for the Southern California PGA, and it hosts the SCPGA Professional Championship.
  • The club's architects are some of the most prestigious in the world: Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley, who have have designed courses all over North America and Asia, mapped out Morongo. They received Architects of the Year awards in 2012, and Schmidt was the 2014–2015 president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects.
  • Hole 4 on The Legends course is memorable: It's a tough distinction considering the club's overall beauty, but this hole is the highest point on the property, granting some pretty incredible views of the canyon and any distant Bigfoots from the tee.
  • You can improve your game: In addition to its courses, the club boasts state-of-the-art practice facilities, a pro shop, and lessons with PGA pros.
