Join us on this beautiful guided snorkeling tour of Lahaina turtle town, one of the best snorkeling destinations on Maui. We will swim side by side over a shallow reef to reach this magical destination from the beach where you can see 10-20 giant sea turtles relaxing, swimming and getting cleaned by a group of surgeonfish fish and Hawaiian cleaner wrasse.

** History: Lahaina turtle town was once a fully-functioning pier which served as a shipping facility for the island’s pineapple and agriculture. In 1992, however, 30 ft. surf came marching into Lahaina as a result of Hurricane Iniki, and the end of the dock was completely destroyed. Today, the pilings from the old dock lie scattered along the ocean floor, and what was once a shipping facility above water is now a healthy artificial reef which is home to a vast array of marine life.

About My Splash Snorkeling Lahaina
At My Splash Snorkeling we prioritize safety & a positive experience for our guests. Our guides are fully trained, CPR certified & equipped to give you an unforgettable experience. There are two tour options available; The Sea Scooter Snorkeling Tour for our experienced & adventurous swimmers & Non-Snorkeling Tour. Our tours all start from the beach. We provide a demonstration on the proper use of snorkel gear and sea scooters as well as review all the basic safety information before setting off on the tour. Throughout the tour, your guide points to various species that inhabit at Turtle Town or other local reefs. It is possible to see manta rays, dolphins, and lots of turtles on any tour. We might hear the sound humpback whales make as they pass by. We might even see one during whale season!
