During 5- to 6-hour fishing trips, guests have the chance to catch barracuda, halibut, sand bass, calico bass, red snapper, giant yellowtail, white sea bass, and many other species. Boats glide along areas from Long Beach to Dana Point, including Newport Beach and Huntington Beach. While they fish, guests relax amid spacious indoor and outdoor seating while taking advantage of full service kitchen and snack bar, where items are available for purchase.

Newport Landing Sportfishing

Newport Landing Sportfishing's fleet of four fishing boats prowl more than 40 miles of coastline as its passengers cast their lines in hopes of impressive catches. The boats depart for guided fishing trips several times per day, making it easy for solo anglers and large groups to find a time to suit them. Half-day trips venture out to nearby Long Beach and Dana Point to catch barracuda, red snapper, halibut, and other species. On full-day trips, the boats journey as far as Catalina Island in search of bonito, yellowfin tuna, and yellowtail, some of which have weighed up to 40 pounds and could pull off pitch-perfect Terminator impressions. Between catches, passengers can take advantage of the fleet's full-service snack bar and kitchen and bask in the sunshine on indoor and outdoor seating.
