The YMCA provides services to the community through 5 departments: Aquatics, Childcare, Performing Arts, Sports, and Wellness. The well-used facility of the Y provide activities that reflect its core mission of inclusivity while promoting Youth Development, healthy living, & social responsibility.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
Our Wellness Department focuses on promoting healthy living through our fitness center, personal training, group exercise classes such as Yoga and Zumba, & special boot camps. Fitness center includes weight machines for adults & teens, free weights, boxing equipment, Childwatch services & more.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
The North Central Florida YMCA is an inclusive organization of men, women, & children joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of children, promoting healthy living, & fostering a sense of social responsibility. We build strong kids, strong families, & strong communities.
