Workers on Novy's ranch ensure each animal has room to wander across 6,000 acres of open pasture, feeding them only nutritious grass with no chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides. What results is not only a smaller carbon footprint and reduced dependency on chemical fertilizers, but cuts of humanely raised beef full of lean proteins and rich, meaty flavor.
