What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We provide a multitude of services from Common Core practice, regents prep, and TASC/GED tutoring. We provide one on one services and have the lowest rate in the area. Normally we charge $25-$20 per hour for services. This discounted groupon price will provide 5 classes that will be two hours each.

Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
Depending on the services we provide students with material (i.e. regents practice test, common core practice test or any other classroom materials.). Students are not required to bring anything. However, if students have homework from school textbooks, students are to bring those materials.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I have been a NYC school teacher for a long time and have made several observations. Students don't receive individual attention in classrooms and can miss major topics in a large setting such as a classroom. My tutoring center is centered around the idea of small groupings and one one service.

What do you love most about your job?
I love the appreciation and understanding I see on students' faces after tutoring session. In addition, students look and feel more confident in their word. We have had many reserved students and after being at the center for a bit you can see them getting out of their shells and participating.
