What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? The OpenRoad Brewery is the newest micro brewery in West Michigan, established in 2016. We offer craft beer, flights, growlers, specilaty hot dogs and a rustic environment. It's a great place to add to your brewery tour to bridge the gap between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo or to stop in and chill for a drink or two.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business? Our love for the beer community and adventure inspired the OpenRoad Brewery. Bringing people together to drink well crafted beers, what gets better than that?
What do you love most about your job? I love the brewery vibe. The people that enjoy craft beer are interesting, typically adventurous people. whether it be adventure in the true sense of enjoying the outdoors and life or trying new craft tastes with people that are like minded.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? Thank you. Thank you for bringing something like this to Wayland. The town has needed something like this for a long time. I hope that this is the first of many new ventures for our growing town.
