When Inlander called Our Thai House "the real deal," they had plenty of proof to back up their claim. For starters, the spot's run by a trio of women who have experience running restaurants in both Spokane and Thailand. Those women repurposed many of the recipes they developed in their native country, including their popular pla lad prik: spicy, deep-fried tilapia dressed with garlic, fresh chilies, and fried basil. Even the decor is true Thai. Colorful, silken runners spread over each tabletop, a massive painting of the Buddha hangs on one wall, and an intricately carved statue adorns the entrance—all of it imported, though probably not teleported, from Thailand.
