- Class reservation required. Must provide Basic Snorkeling Gear (5 items): Quality Silicone Mask, Snorkel, Scuba Fins, Dive Booties & Gloves. PADI OpenWater Class materials are $150 additional, but are FREE if the (5) Basic Snorkeling Items are purchased at Pacific Wilderness when you pick up your Course Materials. Basic Snorkeling Gear has a 30 Day Lowest Price Guarantee and normally reflects a 30% or more savings. All Ocean Gear - BCD, Regulator System, Weights, and Wetsuit are provided. Pool sessions are conducted in our 85 degree Custom Built indoor pool at our San Pedro Location. Class sessions held next to pool and include bottled water & Fresh coffee. Depending on response to med questionnaire, doctor's waiver may be required. Redemption is completed at the time of registration.

About Pacific Wilderness
Jacques Cousteau had barely slipped the first scuba tank off his back when Pacific Wilderness opened its doors in 1953. Since then, the shop’s staffers have used their collective expertise to outfit divers & professionals with high-quality equipment from brands including Aqualung, Scubapro, Oceanic, Seaquest, and Zeagle.
They also teach PADI scuba-certification courses that range from basic open-water training to Instructor Training. Lessons start at the on-land facility's heated pool but progress to weekend-long dives in the waters of Redondo Beach. The shop's scuba-philes also arrange journeys to exotic locales such as the Sipadan Water Village Resort in Malaysia and the secret depths of Camp David's presidential bathtub.
