Welcome to Groupon, Topeka! For our inaugural deal, $5, for $10 worth of burgers, drinks, and more from the The Pad Restaurant in North Topeka. Since this is everyone's first Groupon, allow us to briefly explain how it works.
How Groupon Works
Groupon is a combination of the words group and coupon. Each day, we offer an unbeatable deal on the best of TK_CITY: restaurants, spas, sporting events, theater, and more. By promising businesses a minimum number of customers, we get discounts you won't find anywhere else. We call it "collective buying power."
If you want to get the deal, just click BUY before the offer ends at midnight. If the minimum number of people (5 for today's deal) sign up by the end of the day, you'll be emailed a gift certificate the next morning. You can print your Groupons, or redeem them with our mobile app. Use them whenever you want until the deal expires—today's expires in 6 months. If not enough people join, no one gets the deal (and you won't be charged), so invite your friends to make sure you get the discount!
Today's Deal
Gravity keeps the planets in alignment, causes tides to turn, and holds hamburgers within the cranial orbit of Earth’s eaters. Grab on to a juicy, bunned treat with today’s Groupon: for $5, you get $10 worth of burgers, drinks, and more from the The Pad Restaurant in North Topeka.
Voted best burger by the Topeka Capital-Journal in 2009, this third generation, family-owned eatery has been dishing up fresh, freezer-shunning burgers since 1961. Popular mealtime offerings include the half-pound hamburger ($4.15), hand-breaded pork tenders ($4.69), and Kurly-Q fries ($2.85 for a large order) that retain their ringlets even in the unfurling depths of the deep fryer. The salad bar serves herbivores and herbivoyeurs with crisp concoctions, while fresh fruit, lean hamburgers, and sugar-free pies ($2.25 a slice) provide alternative means of consumption for diabetic or health-conscious customers, or diners training for grueling leapfrog marathons.
