- Tandem kayaks require two persons. Goleta Location is open seasonally, Memorial Day–Labor Day. Additional time past the 1st hour is prorated per minute at the public rate. Walk-in’s will be accommodated as best they can, rentals are first come, first serve without a reservation. Rentals are for 1 hour. If you go over 1 hour, you will be charged $.50/minute. If you do not check-in with the staff when you return from your rental, you will be charged for the entire 2nd hour at $30/hour.Masks are mandatory.Lockers and changing rooms are not available.

About Paddle Sports Center
Paddle Sports Center has helped humans commune with nature through their guided expeditions, courses, and their KAYAK | SUP |SURF rentals at their 2 locations in Santa Barbara & Goleta Beach. They offer various guided trips along the southern California coast, from Refugio State Beach to Carpinteria. The Paddle Sports Center Membership program was pioneered in 2010 by these folks, and provides a truly unique paddling membership model. The outdoor fitness center also offers instruction for outdoorsmen like lessons in the art of standup paddle boarding. Meanwhile, their surf shop doles out aquatic equipment such as surfboards, paddle boards, and an array of kayaks that are available in single-seat or tandem models.
