About Park Avenue LASEK

LASEK is a newly-created, safe procedure that was invented at Harvard by Dr. Chynn. Unlike LASIK, LASEK is 100% non-cutting, and 100% non-invasive. Dr. Chynn was the 1st LASIK surgeon in NY/NJ/CA/PA to get LASIK himself, and performed 10,000 LASIKs. He switched to LASEK so he could have better safety, plus be able to treat patients who can't get LASIK due to conditions such as: astigmatism, farsightedness, presbyopia or the need for reading glasses, and extreme prescriptions/thin corneas. LASEK does not cause dry eyes or night glare. Dr. Chynn can also treat most patients who have had LASIK and still don't have perfect vision--by using HD LASEK treatment and improving vision to 20/20 or even better!
