What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? We offer structured doggy daycare, swimming, grooming, and obedience training. Being a community business, we are humbled to have received Calgary’s best daycare and place to spoil your pet awards in 2007 and 2013 and featured in Calgary Herald and CBC.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Our inspiration was Heidi, who had undergone ACL surgery on her right knee. In 2005, we were determined to bring this leading edge service, canine aquatic exercise to Calgarians’ pooches. We grew from there and today we continue to strive to promote the wellness of your pooch.
What do you love most about your job?
In a nutshell, for each of us at PP, working with dogs is our dream job. It’s extremely rewarding to see a pup gain confidence through positive interactions or regain muscle mass and range motion after swimming. We strive to set our pups up for a happy and fulfilling life.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
We often first meet a puppy when she is just a few weeks old. She roams around daycare meeting friends, getting the first haircut and swimming, obedience lesson. Through the years we see her grow and mature and become an amazing pup. It’s hard not to be part of this amazing family and we are always humbled knowing how we have made a small difference.
