You will learn this dish from scratch from Chef Russell Auckbaraullee with Indian, Middle Eastern and Mauritian roots. (Biryani is in his DNA)Chef Russell Auckbaraulleehas competed in Biryani competitions as seen in the Star Newspaper. Chef Russell is the first Muslim to compete on Food Network’s - Chopped Canada. He’s appeared on multiple media outlets around the world and was the first person to appear on CP24 for Eid day, “demoing Biryani.” Please note there are no nuts in the dishes but saffron,cilantro, eggs and yogurt is used and can not be substituted. Everything is provided in the class but is recommended to bring a notepad.
