Art can express a variety of human feelings, from joy at the birth of a child to confusion at the birth of a man-child. Eloquently articulate your emotions with today's Groupon: for $20, you get $45 worth of classes at Pinot's Palette's Galleria location on Richmond Avenue.
Pinot's Palette whets artistic appetites with its creativity-stirring combination of paint and libations, transforming the plain painting process into a fun session of swigs and sketches. During each class, a local artist guides fledgling brush wielders through their artistic attempts at mastering a pre-determined art piece, such as a tulip still life or a Rococo rendering of a transportation-subcommittee hearing. Pinot's Palette provides all of the painting supplies needed, so students only need to bring their favorite beverage and whatever outfit awakens their inner Magritte, Cezanne, or painting elephant. Most classes take about two hours to complete. For those who do not use the entire balance of today's Groupon, the remaining balance can be applied to a future class, or the entire balance can be used for a more expensive class.

Pinot’s Palette has garnered ample press coverage, including a featured spot on Great Day Houston's Date Night. While there aren’t many online user reviews yet for the newer Richmond Avenue location, Yelpers give the Taft Street location an average of 4.5 stars.

About Pinot's Palette - Katy
Pinot's Palette is less an art studio than it is a way for people to enjoy a libation-filled night out with friends, one that happens to include a painting project. The painting sessions evoke adults' inner artists whether they have any painting experience or not, encouraging conversation and good cheer while painting and sipping. Some locations feature a BYOB policy while others serve beer and wine from the bar. Each session features a predetermined painting—from flowers and animals to known classics such as Van Gogh's Starry Night—which each participant tackles from their own artistic angle under the guidance of an experienced instructor.
