Kristy & Anthony Fidanza's first venture in the hair design industry, Plush Salon, was by all accounts a success. After six years running Plush, they decided to take what they had learned and apply it to a more specialized experience: an exclusive blowdry salon. At first Plushblow, occupied a small corner of a women's clothing boutique, but as its popularity grew, so did it, expanding, not only to its own space, but to two more locations. And as it rose in size, it also rose in fame, earning features in publications such as InStyle and Westchester Magazine.

Plushblow's concept is simple but by no means limiting. Clients can choose from numerous distinct styles: there's The Skinny blowdry treatment, which leaves hair sleek and stick-straight, and then there's the Va Va Voom, a blowdry that bestows height and volume for a more dramatic effect. There are also blowdry treatments to accommodate curly and wavy hair, clip-on extensions for added length, and extras like the Spa Treatment, a leave-in treatment that adds an extra smooth texture to the hair that can last through 10 shampoos or five Flashdance re-enactments.
