About Portland Fireplace & Chimney

You dream it, we build it! We are excited to bring your fireplace dreams to reality. We are fireplace artisans who love to transform an old, outdated fireplace into a new and beautiful efficient masterpiece. The chimney and fireplace are two of the most overlooked parts of homes. While its easy to know when your dishes, floors, or windows are dirty, it is hard to know how often to clean something you can't see. Portland Fireplace & Chimney Inc brings OCSA certified technicians into the home to provide NFPA 211 Level 2 Fireplace Inspections. If the technician finds that the fireplace is safe for continued use, a cleaning will be performed to remove combustibles and obstructions. Not sweeping the chimney is a judgment made by the certified chimney sweep. What makes that decision is if this fireplace is safe or not. If it is not in a serviceable condition, it should not be swept. An estimate will be provided with the proper repairs needed for a fire-worthy fireplace and chimney. For damaged chimneys, the team can re-mortar and rebuild crowns and flashings and install stainless steel or aluminum liners. The masonry crews perform specialty fireplace repair, rebuilds, retrofit, and structural seismic reinforcements.
