  • This is a longer version of the Trough Trip; it goes further south, to the end of the line, through Moorefield and into Petersburg. (It is approximately 76 miles round-trip.) There is a layover in Petersburg, about 1 1/2 to 3 hours long. Passengers have time to enjoy the South Side Depot as well as shops and restaurants.

• Ticket Age Categories:
  • Adult: 17 and older
  • Child: 2–16 years
  • Infants (0/23 months): Free admission. However, they still require a ticket through Potomac Eagle and customers just need to mention they will have a lap child.
• Standard Coach Seating: Cushioned, bench-style seats have reversible backs so passengers can face in either direction and enjoy the scenery from all angles. Windows can be opened, and limited heating is also available.
• Concession Car: Offers a selection of snacks available to purchase, such as hotdogs, nachos, candy bars, ice cream, popcorn and drinks (cash only).
• Restrictions:
  • No smoking, pets, or alcoholic beverages permitted.
  • No outside food or drinks are permitted.
