About proActive Safety Services
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Since 2009, we have successfully completed over 1,100 instructor-led training courses. We have permanent training facilities located in Cincinnati and Columbus. We currently employ three full-time safety trainers and a customer-service team of four.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
We provide a Confined Space Awareness training packet as well as a pen. Attendees need to bring a photo ID with them.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Growing up, I was able to work several different types of jobs. It was apparent early on to me that there were a lot of companies who didn't value safety. We started the company to reduce workplace accidents and injuries and convince business owners to value safety.
What do you love most about your job?
The ability to spread out our training services to over nine states through the Environmental Protection Agency Lead Renovator Training course. Our trainers are able to speak directly to business owners and influence their thinking on safety in a non-sales environment.
