Registered nurse Lisa Grissim opened Profiles Laser & Medical Aesthetics to improve the health and look of the body’s largest and most visible organ: the skin. She recruited Dr. Thomas Miller to supervise the staff, which includes fellow registered nurses and licensed aestheticians. The crew’s intense focus on skin treatments—which range from anti-aging laser treatments to Botox injections—grants them a degree of expertise they use to help customers understand their skincare options. Staffers unpack technical terms and lend personalized advice to steer clients toward ideal treatments. Lisa explains, “We want to form lasting relationships with clients and rejoice with them as they experience the changes they desire.”

Though it has the staff, state-of-the-art laser equipment, and immortality serums of an advanced med-spa, the office sets itself apart with an upscale, salon-like atmosphere. Sun floods the lobby, where bunches of flowers and potted plants add an organic element to the modern décor. Shelves line up some of the world’s premiere skincare lines, including Obagi, Avène, and SkinCeuticals.
