About Provo Beach
Sailors contemplate many things when crossing the Atlantic—the constellations in the sky, the capricious nature of the winds, and how to build one of the most dynamic family-fun centers in Utah. An unlikely beginning, but that's how things started for Provo Beach, as one of its founders envisioned the more than 50,000-square-foot indoor recreation center on a transatlantic sail.
Today, guests of all ages enjoy 12 activities, from a ropes course suspended 32 feet above the ground to a bowling alley sporting gleaming lanes and four large flat-screen TVs. The indoor Flowrider gives guests a taste of surfing or boogie boarding, propelling a continual flow of water up a wave-shaped bank. In addition to these attractions, the resort hosts special events such as Tuesday-night karaoke and the Wild Wonders Animal Show, which regales guests with creatures from tortoises to hedgehogs who also sing karaoke. Between activities, guests can refuel at the café and ice-cream shop.
