The staff at Pure Body Spa believes that the human body is an amazing, self-healing system, but that even the most robust body occasionally needs a helping hand. That was the case for founder Cindy Blair. Her whole life she'd been struggling with her weight, her relationship with food, and her body image. Then, 20 years ago, she attended a two-week detoxification retreat. In that short time she lost 12 pounds and gained insight that she'd never before experienced. For years afterwards, she continued to grow her expertise, traveling the country to increase her understanding of health and detox practices. At Pure Body Spa, she offers clients an affordable, holistic approach to wellness through services such as colon hydrotherapy. Discreet sessions utilize purified water from an HC-2000 machine which is warmed to internal body temperature to ensure comfort. Other detoxification treatments include infrared sauna sessions and ionic footbaths, while clients looking to release tension can enlist Pure Body's resident massage therapist Kenny Lawrence.
