At Quest Room, the experience starts before you even get past the front door. The Koreatown facility's façade is covered in dark, evocative murals, setting the stage for the room-escape games to come. The setup is routine for escape-room connoisseurs—up to six players, a 60-minute time limit, puzzles that require logic and teamwork—but the settings, less so. Quest Room prides itself on its immersive scenarios, complete with special effects, theatrical design, and lifelike, scene-setting props.

• Bloody Elbow: Play the role of a prisoner of the Medieval Inquisition, held on suspicion of witchcraft in a dungeon. Certain, painful death at the hands of the torturer and executioner Bloody Hands awaits unless you can escape in time. Available for players aged 18 or older.
• Da Vinci's Challenge: Considered more challenging, this room requires you to imagine being an acolyte of Leonardo da Vinci. The famed artist and inventor has too many followers hoping to be his next apprentice. To single out the strongest candidates, he created a confounding room to test their problem-solving skills under pressure.

Quest Room is developing new escape rooms all the time. Its game masters are nearing completion on two more: The Future and Red Giant.
