Randy's Perennials & Water Gardens
Thousands of plants populate the cheery purple farmhouse and grounds at Randy’s Perennials & Water Gardens, where resident garden masters greet customer questions with horticultural knowledge derived from two decades in business. Eight display ponds spark landscaping inspiration and host species of albino catfish and butterfly koi for purchase, and staffers answer any water-gardening questions thrown their way and provide advice on purchasing from the selection of water-gardening accessories. A selection of edible greens like lettuce and collards and ornamental greens such as cabbage, mustard, and kale are tasty and decorative, while apple, peach, plum, and blueberry trees cheerfully sprout in front or back yards. While browsing through aisles of perennials, pottery, and annuals, patrons can take a few moments away from their pursuits to unwind in the center's 1,250-square-foot butterfly house. Sweet-smelling hyacinths line the enclosure and butterflies flit through the air, landing on flowers and hosting nectar-chugging contests with their fellow winged friends.
