    What started as one woman's dream to create a successful business for her family has grown into La Hacienda De Los Barrios, one of San Antonio's premier places to go to for casero (homemade) style Mexican cuisine. Everything at La Hacienda is handmade with love using the same recipes the Barrios family has been using for decades. Signature dishes include the El Mofofo (beef and pork steeped in marinade and served on a flaming grill), the Milanesa con Papas (Mexican-style chicken-fried steak), and the Classic Enchilada Assortment that comes with one of each type of enchilada they offer. You'll also find all the Mexican classics on the menu -- tacos, fajitas, burritos, quesadillas, carne asada -- as well as vegetarian options and American favorites, like burgers and chicken nuggets. Their full-service bar offers plenty of drink options to accompany your meal, with regular happy hour specials available Tuesday-Friday and different nightly specials.
