Ricardo Pires is a multiple-time Pan-American champion, Brazilian champion, Rio de Janeiro State champion and Abu Dhabi (ADCC) trials runner-up. Professor Ricardo has achieved success not only as a competitor but also as a coach having trained well-known UFC fighters such as Frank Mir, Heath Hearing and Phil Baroni among others. Ricardo has trained and taught at famous academies in the United States and Brazil.
