Welcome to Groupon, Daytona Beach! For our inaugural deal, $10 gets you $20 worth of Japanese cuisine and drinks at Ronin Sushi + Sake Bar. Since this is everyone's first Groupon, allow us to briefly explain how it works.
How Groupon Works
Groupon is a combination of the words group and coupon. Each day, we offer an unbeatable deal on the best of Daytona Beach: restaurants, spas, sporting events, theater, and more. By promising businesses a minimum number of customers, we get discounts you won't find anywhere else. We call it "collective buying power."
If you want to get the deal, just click BUY before the offer ends at midnight. If the minimum number of people (5 for today's deal) sign up by the end of the day, you'll be emailed a gift certificate the next morning. You can print your Groupons, or redeem them with our mobile app. Use them whenever you want until the deal expires—today's expires in 6 months. If not enough people join, no one gets the deal (and you won't be charged), so invite your friends to make sure you get the discount!
Today's Deal
Sushi, like smart phones, can contain a variety of elements in a single unit and may interfere with airplanes' navigational equipment during takeoffs and landings. Dine safely on sushi with today's Groupon: for $10, you get $20 worth of Japanese cuisine and drinks at Ronin Sushi + Sake Bar.
Channeling the dedicated diligence of Japanese samurai warriors, Ronin Sushi + Sake Bar adroitly masters the transformation of unwieldy raw fish and sticky vinegar rice into delectable sushi. The result is a creative and diverse sushi menu featuring a variety of fish on which to feast. Sushi suitors can sup on Ronin's intricate specialty rolls, such as the Red Sand roll filled with tempura eel, cream cheese, and avocado, adorned with crunchy and spicy toppings ($12.95), or some no-frills eel nigiri ($2.50 per piece). In Ronin's second kitchen, chefs create a combination of Japanese starters and entrees, including Kobe beef sliders ($12) and chicken or shrimp tempura ($12). Whether spawned in the sushi galley or entree kitchen, all dishes are served as soon as they are made, and sharing is encouraged. Diners can sip on sake to celebrate a full tummy or to forget their latest canasta catastrophe.
