Rosati's Pizza: The History
Rosati's story is as American as they come. The real beginnings of the restaurant can be traced back to 1895 when Ferdinand Rosati opened a fine-dining Pizzeria on Coney Island. Over time the family grew and moved around the country, but they stayed close to the restaurant business.
In 1978, the three Rosati brothers decided to approach the business in a new way and started incorporating delivery and franchising their Chicago-style pizzeria. This bold move proved hugely successful, leading to nearly 200 Rosati's brand restaurants across America.
