From the deck of Rowe Ridge Vineyard and Winery, guests sip on vintages while the horizon burns fiery hues of orange and pink at sunset. While peering out over the vines used to make the very wine they drink, they might gather from conversing with Marc and Pamela Rowe that the vineyard has been growing since 2005—just two years before the Rowes began making wine commercially—and now bursts with more than 2,900 vines and eight varieties of grapes. They can also look to the couple for tasting notes on their many styles, including French-American hybrids like Seyval blanc and Chambourcin, as well as blackberry and apple-pear fruit wines.
