Introduction to Horses Package
Welcome to our four-week course designed for novice riders 10 years and older, where you'll gain a strong foundation in horsemanship and riding. Each session is crafted to set you up for success and nurture your passion for horses.
Lesson 1: Learn essential skills like haltering, leading, reading horse body language, and the art of grooming.
Lesson 2: Engage in hands-on practice with haltering, leading, and grooming, while discovering the types and parts of tack.
Lesson 3: Master the process of tacking up your horse, mounting, dismounting, and caring for your equipment post-ride.
Lesson 4: Continue refining your skills with tacking and untacking, practice mounting and dismounting, and learn basic equitation (body position), steering, and speed cues.

New sessions start at the beginning of each month.
Classes are held once a week on Mondays at 6pm, Thursdays at 4pm, or Fridays at 10am.
2025 Holiday Stable Closures: January 1, August 1-5, Thanksgiving day, December 25 31.
Additional Option available for two lessons per week for a total of 8 lessons in 4 weeks - frequent practice is key to mastery, and riding twice a week will accelerate your progress, give you more time in the saddle, and bring you closer to achieving your personal equestrian goals.
