About Russell Military Museum
When military men retire, they might move somewhere sunny or maybe back to their hometowns. When military vehicles retire, many of them end up at the Russell Military Museum. On these eight acres, helicopters, tanks, jets, and jeeps bask in the sun, finally at rest after years of service. Visitors can see Civil War cannonballs, a Hummer prototype, and Nazi swords, all in one place. And if any of them want to get to know the vehicles even better, they can join the volunteer restoration club, where they'll learn how to change the oil of a tank or set a propeller plane's radio to the oldies station.
