During vehicle and carriage safaris, zebras and water buffalo break from their herds to greet bands of explorers traversing the ranch. Friendly muzzles can eat from safaris' feeders while guides expound on the importance of conservation and hand hygiene. A canvas awning shades the stadium seats of safari vehicles, and powerful haflinger horses pull the large, open carts of carriages. Tours embark daily at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.

About Safari Wilderness Ranch
Safari Wilderness Ranch's exotic wetland animals freely roam 260 acres of grassy plains, girded by an 850-square-mile watershed. The ranch is an agritourism project dedicated to teaching about endangered species through hands-on safaris. Wandering zebra and watusi cattle herds coexist harmoniously with waterbuck as explorers ride by on trucks. There is also a lemur habitat that allows guests to feed the ring-tailed lemurs grapes (lemur feedings and Coati encounters are available for purchase upon arrival).
