History

In 2005, Matt and Lara Lane became frustrated with the lack of warm-water swimming classes available for their two young kids. So, as former competitive swimmers themselves, Matt and Lara dove right into the problem and established their own swim school. The first SafeSplash opened its doors in Denver in 2006, and since then, the company's numbers truly tell the story:

Mission

SafeSplash facilities specialize in teaching swimming to children (starting at six months old) and adults. Inside each location, SafeSplash certified instructors—who must complete the company's proprietary curriculum—provide one-on-one instruction during classes, camps, and special needs programs. Though they're serious about their jobs, SafeSplash's instructors strive to create a positive, fun environment, which only helps create confident lifelong swimmers in the process. Awards and recognition have poured in steadily since SafeSplash opened a decade ago.
