Flavors from Japan, China, and Thailand all manage to work their way onto Sake Asian Cuisine & Sushi Bar's menu, leading to a selection of pan-regional cuisine inspired by centuries of culinary traditions. At the sushi bar, chefs gingerly slice seafood as they assemble orders of nigiri and sashimi. They also create more than 50 different sushi rolls, featuring combos that range from seared white tuna and balsamic-garlic sauce to spicy lobster and jalapeño. The Japanese portion of the menu continues with beef teriyaki, tempura-fried vegetables, and chicken katsu. Thai and Chinese cuisines are showcased as well—yellow coconut curry is teeming with bell peppers, zucchini, and shrimp, and wok-fried general tso's chicken is smothered in Szechuan-style sauce.

Diners embark on this culinary tour in a vibrant, trendy space that's housed within the SouthSide Works. The spacious dining room immerses visitors in a kaleidoscopic setting, complete with deep orange walls, blue neon lights that glow from beneath the bar, and spherical chandeliers that dot the main seating area. Asian influences are not only found on the menu, but in the decor as well—a large framed Buddha picture dominates one wall, and the exposed stonework behind the sushi bar features a traditional Japanese silk-screen painting commemorating the first grain of rice ever fished out of the ocean.
