LoneStar Sports and Social Club
Fitness is important, but so is not being bored. LoneStar Sports and Social Club aims to kill two birds with one stone in its coed athletic events for grown-ups. Teams assemble for friendly, competitive seasons of flag football, indoor soccer, kickball and dodgeball, tennis, bowling, and other events, working up a sweat and socializing at the same time. Sometimes things go beyond the simple formula of one team challenging another: organized events, such as the Clue Race Adventure, see teams of two doing battle with both their feet and their brains as they race around the city. Some, but not all, venues permit the consumption of a beer or two, and SCC organizers encourage attendance at post-victory (or loss) happy hours.
