Course description
The PADI Open Water Diver Course, is your initial step into the wonderful, rewarding world of scuba diving.
About This Deal
What's included:
- lifetime certification fees, college credit, training materials, classroom instruction, confined water (pool dives), open water dives, and scuba rental gear for your confined water dives.
- Group Lessons ONLY
- Course Duration: Approx Two - 3-4 hour class room sessions, two 3 hour pool sessions and two afternoons of Open Water sessions ( Normally in Rolla or Beaver Lake )
- Minimum Age: 12 years or older
What's NOT included:
- Transportation, accomodation or Park fees
- Gear Rentals for Open Water ($35) (IF needed)
- Personal gear (required pieces: mask, snorkel, boots and fins, included in the Start up voucher)
Requirements:
- Reservations ARE required to insure group classess
- Clean bill of health or a physician's approval to dive
- Younger than 19 years old MUST be accompanied by a guardian
- Must be older than 12 years of age
- Participants must pick up learning materials before class, in time to pre-study (See Below)

You are required to have a mask, fins, snorkel, and dive boots for class. Scuba Adventure offers discounts on these items purchased by the student, and we normally can match or beat any online prices. Your rental BCD, regulator, gages, tank, weights, and wet suit are included in the cost of the course for CONFINED water dives. OPEN water dives have a special $35 reduced rental fee for 2 days rental of Wetsuit, Tank, Regulator and BCD. Please support your local dive shop.
Please read all your course book before class starts, and answer all of the quizzes and knowledge reviews prior to class. After-hours study may also be required. You can earn college credit for this course as well.
