One of the greatest musicians of all time, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, was a prodigy who played the violin, clavichord and harpsichord by age five, had achieved musical stardom by age six, began touring Europe to play for royalty at age seven and composed his first symphony at the tender age of eight. During Mozart -- Boy Genius! at Benaroya Hall, step back in time to experience what it might have been like to attend a concert featuring written and played by Mozart as a boy. Mozart -- Boy Genius! was written and narrated by KING FM host Marta Zekan, with music performed by Seattle's St. Helens String Quartet and two high-caliber young musicians, one of whom was a semi-finalist in KING FM's Young Artist Competition and an award recipient at the Seattle Young Artists Music Festival. Celebrate the 260th anniversary of Mozart's birth during this special Seattle Chamber Music Society event, ideally suited for children ages 5 through 10.
