What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We are the only indoor skateboarding facility in the city of Ventura. We have two ramp rooms with 2’ and 3’ halfpipes with features, which are perfect for skaters of any skill level. Sure, you can buy a skateboard from other shops, but you can only buy a skateboard and learn to drop in at Serio!
Is your location strictly for adults, or can kids participate as well?
There is absolutely no age restriction for this deal, and we encourage parents of toddlers to pad them up and get them on the ramp! The gentle motions of rolling back and forth on the ramp are perfect for your child’s critical development of muscle memory, balance, and full-body coordination.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Serio began with the desire to enrich the local skate community through events, creativity, and small skater-owned brands. We’re locally owned by an ex-employee of Skate Street and Five Points, and we are currently working with the city to get real skateparks in Ventura.
What do you love most about your job?
We love the fact that lifelong memories are being made here. The joy, confidence, and accomplishment that kids experience after learning tricks is priceless!
